GRACEDAME is a niche French luxury skincare brand. Derived from Latin, the word Grace originates from the Three Graces in Greek mythology. It symbolizes elegance, grace, as well as kindness, benevolence and divine blessing. Dame means lady, madam and noblewoman.
Legend has it that in the mid-13th century, the heir to the French throne married the youngest daughter of the Medici family. On the princess’s wedding day, his mother presented her with the very first bottle of essence water. In religious faith, this essence represents rebirth, signifying the transformation of identity: a young girl officially becoming a noble queen. Cherished by the French royal family for its beautiful implication, it became popular throughout the Middle Ages and was once a fashionable trend among medieval aristocrats.
In the 21st century, Activen Biopharmaceutical Laboratory in Switzerland discovered the secret to anti-aging and time-reversal care. Devoted to exploring the miracle of premium anti-aging effects, the laboratory upgraded the traditional essence formula and created pure, natural skincare essence. It also expanded production lines and developed a full range of skincare products including creams and eye creams to restore skin elasticity and revitalize the skin.
Through exquisite manufacturing processes and continuous technological upgrades, the current president of GRACEDAME invited Dr Charareh Pourzand, former R&D consultant of Estée Lauder Group, to join the brand’s research team.
